BT supplier award for Pandelco 
BT Supply Chain Solutions launched a new award scheme for top performing suppliers.
The quarterly awards are in two categories - Tools and Consumables and BT Cable, Cable Products and Internal Plant - to recognise the contribution of its suppliers.
The first award went to Pandelco an internal plant supplier.
Pandelco was awarded a three-year contract with BT to supply LV Power switchboards. The contract has recently been extended for a further two years until mid 2005.
The switchboards are used to distribute AC mains power to telecoms equipment in exchanges throughout the UK operational estate.
The award was presented to Pandelco's Managing Director John Bagworth at the firm's headquarters in Burton upon Trent.
Mr Paul Eve from BT said, "The award scheme is a way of recognising suppliers who are performing well. I was pleased to present the first award to Pandelco. It is a company with a long relationship with BT providing a competitively priced product and excellent customer service.
This initiative by Supply Chain Solutions is a good way of building up and maintaining good relationships with them".
